It makes me feel like something is terribly wrong, like something important is forever lost never to be regained. Thats why I promised myself to move out in the middle of nowhere when I’m done studying. It’s a beautiful picture. Anitta Hiekkanen replies: "Thank you I don’t hate new buildings myself, I mean I make a living by working on constructions. And people nowadays don’t care for things they don’t need. I don’t even know anyone who still picks berries from forests (except my own family), so... Life. *shrugs*"
| 28 Oct 2009 | Judith Ahonen | Loading...That is another point of view... People nowadays *sigh*. Add me and my family to the people still picking berries and mushrooms from the forest. Anitta Hiekkanen replies: " duly noted, and added to the list " | |

We now have an old mulberry tree in our yard and once in a while our neighbor, Who is 98 or 99 years old, would come and pick the berries- and then turn around with her face all stained like badly applied lipstick! I feel your sadness over the loss of your berry patch- where my wife lived in Northern Indiana , there were dozens of blueberry farms, many of the You-pick variety. Now there are nothing but suburbs. The price of progress Anitta Hiekkanen replies: "Your neighbor sounds like a fun old lady But I am sorry for the blueberry farms. Let me guess, the houses built there are ugly boxes with absolutely no personality. No, don’t tell me. I don’t think I really want to know "
